Theme: Breastfeeding - Winning Goal for Life
World Breastfeeding week 2014 was celebrated on 07/08/2014 at 11:00am. It was conducted in Shridevi Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Hospital in association with Shridevi College of Nursing and Shri Ramanamaharshi College of Nursing.
The program was inaugurated by Dr. C.M.Gurumurthy, Dean, SIMS&RH, Mr. G H Nayak CEO Shridevi Charitable Trust. Dr. Vijay R Thubaki Vice-Principal, Dr. Palakshaiah Prof & HOD Dept of Orhtopaedics and Dr. Royadu RMO.
Key note address was delivered by Dr. C.M.Gurumurthy, Dr. Vijay R Thubaki, Dr. Royadu, Dr. Shalini Prof & HOD Dept of Medicine and Dr. M C Prabhudeva MSW Dept of Community Medicine.
Scientific session was presented by Dr. Amruth.M, Assistant Professor, Dept of community medicine, SIMS&RH, Dr. Santosh Prof & HOD Dept of Pediatrics, SIMS&RH and Prof. L. Regina, Shridevi Nursing College.
A skit on awareness of Breastfeeding was presented by Dr. Dharneesh Prasad, Assistant Professor, Dept of community medicine, SIMS&RH and Nursing students.
