Dr. M. R. Hulinaykar had a vision for the growing demand for skilled professionals in various fields. Sri Shridevi Charitable Trust, founded in 1992, supports students in pursuing higher education and achieving their goals. 

Shridevi Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Hospital, established by the Trust, aims to offer quality medical education. The Trust also oversees Shridevi Engineering College, Nursing, MBA, Paramedical Courses, and other degree colleges and schools.
