The department of physiology in Shridevi Institute of Medical Sciences & research Hospital is well equipped state of the art laboratories and highly qualified and experienced teaching and non-teaching staff. The Department of Physiology imparts knowledge on human physiology to the students. Ancient Greek word “physis” meaning “nature/origin” and “logia” meaning “study of”. Human physiology is subject of sciences about human beings who deals with the mechanical, physical bioelectrical and biochemical functions in good health, their organs and the cell of which they are composed.

Facilities:

The Department of Physiology is well equipped with laboratories. Having departmental library and seminar hall with LCD projector for more than 150 students capacity. The department is also having well experienced teaching and non-teaching faculty members.
